À propos de l'événement
I used to be someone who lived in my head, now I live in my body. Movement and somatic experiencing have allowed me to transform how I relate to my body and, consequently, how I relate to the world. When you learn to experience the world through your body and your senses you become more grounded in the physical body, you experience embodiment.
We live in a world in which people have become disconnected from their bodies. The result is that most people cannot identify their feelings, sensations in the body, and messages that the body is sending telling them that things are not right and change needs to occur. The body is constantly speaking to us, we have just forgotten how to listen. The more we connect with our body through movement and somatic experiencing, the more we develop a relationship with it, the more we can understand what is going on internally. What is the body drawing your attention to?
Our July breath ceremony will focus on movement and breath. This is a workshop to reconnect with the body, moving in a way you haven’t moved for a long time or maybe even ever. We will use the breath to allow the body to open up and become free - free from limitations, free from patterns, free from the past.
